GOODYEAR ASSEMBLY
Goodyear welted shoes were introduced in 1869 to make durable pairs of shoes that were easy to resole and repair, thereby extending their lifespan.

HAND PATINATED
Our artisans create the patina of the shoes with very elaborate techniques and a master's hand, giving them an unrivaled presence and a unique patina in the world.
As with a work of art, our colorists juggle with pigments, play with shades and essential oils. To apply their products, they use a multitude of tools: brushes of all sizes, sponges, cloths, etc.
In the hands of master colorists, the shoes are first cleaned and the surface layers of shoe polish removed. The leather is then stripped bare, that is to say lightened with transparent shoe polish, then for a whole day, patiently massaged with essential oils loaded with natural pigments and different types of waxes... A long work follows. pigment-based coloring and nourishing cream. Glazing is the final operation which highlights all the work previously carried out by the craftsman.
